ProofShelf keeps receipts, warranty details, and manuals ready for returns, repairs, and support.

This privacy policy applies to ProofShelf, published by Auralyxis.

ProofShelf is designed as a local-first purchase proof utility. This policy explains what the app does with your information in the current version of the product.

What ProofShelf stores

When you import a receipt, warranty card, manual, image, or PDF, ProofShelf stores that content on your device so you can view, search, and manage it later. The app may also store OCR text, document metadata, notes, and reminder dates on your device.

How document processing works

ProofShelf performs OCR and document analysis on-device. In the current version, imported document contents and extracted text are not uploaded to a ProofShelf server by the app.

Backups

If you choose to export a backup, ProofShelf creates a ZIP archive at the destination you select. Backup export and restore are initiated by you.

Accounts and cloud services

ProofShelf does not require an account to use its core features. The current version does not provide cloud sync or multi-device account storage.

Payments

If you subscribe to Premium, payment processing is handled by Google Play. ProofShelf does not run its own payment backend in the current version.

Analytics and advertising

The current version does not include third-party advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs for behavioral tracking.

Permissions

Depending on your Android version and the actions you take, the app may request access related to notifications or use Android system file and camera flows to import documents. ProofShelf is designed to avoid broad storage access.

Data deletion

You can delete saved documents and reminders from within the app. Removing the app from your device also removes app-private stored data from the device, subject to Android system behavior.

Children

ProofShelf is not designed specifically for children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the product changes. If features such as cloud sync, remote OCR, analytics, or account systems are added, this policy must be revised before release.
